Interpreting your score

If you haven’t already done so, total the tally you have been keeping. What does that number mean?

Over 75. Come on, there are only 75 bullet points!

71-75. You seem to have trouble saying “no”. I doubt you could honestly get that high since there are contradictory points. I recommend reading a good book on self-esteem.

61-70. You are a serious musician who cares deeply about music. It is the air you breathe and language you speak.

51-60. Music plays a huge part in your life. You are a musician, and life for you would be meaningless without music.

41-50. You are a music lover and maybe a musician. Playing and listening to music inspires and motivates you. You would be less fulfilled and productive without music.

26-40. Music is an important part of your life, but you’re likely to find a way of surviving if it is taken away from you. At least for a while.

0-25. I find it hard to believe you’d be doing this quiz if you care that little about music. If your score is true, you’d die of starvation long before you missed listening to music.

Feel free to discuss your score in the comments.

LOL well-said!! I think I got more than 60 points from this list! :D

  • Just coming up with this stuff shows how addicted you are, Adrian! :)

My score is 53, but I seem to fit more in the previous category by your description (41-50).

My Sansa broke down a couple of weeks ago and I’m doing my best to cope with the withdrawal symptoms until I get a new player…

  • emily says:

    I scored over 60 for this =D

  • lyden says:

    Hi Adrian …

well, 21 not sure what that means ……

I don’t feel comfortable listening to music everywhere in the public, I do have an iPhone, just no music on it …. I feel unsocial and unfocused when wearing headphones!

When working on the computer I do listen to music in the back, but not frequently at all …

And by the way, I absolutely hate mobile phones playing songs ;-)

I like to do absolutely nothing when listening.

One of my favourite thing is to go to a concert ….

    That said…. I absolutely love music …

    All the best

    I

  • Wow, lol, I love music so much but some of those are crazy XD

  • Adrian says:

Well, I only scored 49. That’s largely because I spend more time listening to podcasts than music at the moment.

@Alex – Yes, I’m addicted, but I got a lot of ideas from watching my kids. lol. Your score is almost borderline.

@Lyden – Sounds like you have sensible boundaries in your life. And it sounds like you prefer to focus on music – you value it too much to have it as background noise.

@Craig – I think that “crazy” is a perfect description for most of them. And an even better description of those who do them!

@CLF and @Emily – 60 is the highest reported score so far. Congratulations! You’re both crazier than I am.

  • Jessica says:
