Emmett, can't say I know anything about the web license — I only discovered it now ;). I'd say it's a ThemeForest thing or I'd know more about it, and probably best to ignore it from the AudioJungle point of view for now.

Personal use license I think is a fantastic idea. I think a lot of songs here would be great on a personal listening basis.

I think a better way for audio would be these:

Private Use

Public Use

Commercial Use

Just a thought...

Ok I understand what you're saying. Basically if a standard license can be used in a multi-million copy selling game (for $10) why does a web license cost most, but yet would be distributed less?

I'm not sure a standard license does cover that, but I see what you're saying

there was a page somewhere that had the licensing types, and one of the three said site license, which was marked at 50x the original price. I'm just wondering what a site license is exactly, and why it's worth so much.

Not sure what you're referring to, Selcuk? The 10 project license costs three times the price of a single use license.

That is really sweet stuff! The site license is... just wow, is it really okay to put them at 50x? I mean, if a standard license can be used (potentially) in a Triple A game, which would sell to millions (they can have unlimited copies), why would a website license, require 50 that?

I strongly suspect another Source Files sales figures kind of deal there to be honest. Still, I could very well be wrong, i'm not a marketing or licensing guru.

Emmett — as Cyan says these are just to begin with and we'll have site-specific licenses in the future, but there are plenty of cases where a license to use a file in multiple projects are useful, especially in the sound effects department. If you're a filmmaker or game developer, you want to be able to reuse sound effects as much as possible, or if you bought thematic music, you'll want to use it in any spin-off or sequel material. There are better-suited ideas specific to AudioJungle, but the 10 project license is a good start, one that is useful to a very large chunk of our buyers.
