Wrapping up the Blog for 2009

We would like to announce that In the Jungle will be taking a “holiday hiatus” over the festive season. We will quite literally be “wrapping it up” for Christmas and we will be back, bigger and brighter, in 2010. The wait will definitely be worth it however as we’re going to be changing the format of all our blogs in the new year.

Thank you, Adrian!

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank In the Jungle Blog Editor Adrian Try for the outstanding articles he has contributed this year. Adrian has been a tremendous asset to AudioJungle, writing and producing the superb article series Exploring Digital Audio Workstations, showcasing AudioJungle authors in Author Salutes, and bringing you music-related gadget, software and online resources news each and every week. Thanks for bouncing all those ideas back-and-forth, Adrian! :)

Here’s a few words from Adrian before he signs off for this year:

I’ve recently had my AudioJungle “birthday”. My first blog post, called 10 Things Songbird Does That iTunes Can’t, was published on 6th December 2008. The blog was only weekly back then, and I enjoyed working with Joel. Half way through the year Scott came onto the scene with lots of great ideas, and the blog went daily. I’ve had a great time writing all of those articles, and have learned a lot.

Most of all, I’ve enjoyed learning about you, the AudioJungle community. I’d like to thank everyone who filled in all of those interview questions. We managed to publish them all before the end of the year! You’ve inspired me, and taught me a lot. Thanks.

I hope you all have a great holiday season, and I’ll see you in the new year.

- Adrian Try

But fear not, you can still follow Adrian’s work as both a writer and editor over at Audiotuts+.

So until next year, Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to all our readers!
